Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

O’Donnell & Naccarato provided structural design and restoration services for the major renovation of the former Taj Mahal Casino Resort to create the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. The expansion included a renovated performance arena with two new multi-tiered elevated seating platforms, a new 21,000 SF Hard Rock Cafe, a new day spa, a new nightclub, two new Hard Rock guitar signs for the exterior of the building at 30-feet-tall and 60-feet-tall, new built-up gaming platforms, and new exterior facade features. The existing parking garage underwent a complete restoration and parking consultation update which significantly altered the existing traffic patterns, entrance/exit points, revenue control system, and included more than 2M SF of concrete and waterproofing repairs.
