Frank M. & Dorothea Henry Cancer Center Expansion

Project Overview

O’Donnell & Naccarato provided structural services for Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center’s expansion to the Frank M. and Dorothea Henry Cancer Center, originally opened in 1992. The 104,000 SF, 5-story expansion features high-end care including an 18-bed inpatient unit to serve bone marrow transplant recipients, consolidation of treatment services, and a redesigned reception and lounge area. Rooms on the inpatient unit adapt to people’s needs and feature finely controlled heating, ventilation, and air conditioning to ensure the safest patient environment.

A 5-level, 600 space, precast-concrete parking garage adjacent to the addition provides parking for patients and staff.
